We made it to Denver in about 17 hours. Everything is going smooth so far.
We drove up a cray set of switchbacks up a mountain road to get to the top where the Buffalo Bill grave and museum are. After that, we decided to ride a little and found a sweet trail right off the highway... it was a bear going up-tons of rocks and stuff, but flying down made it worth it.
We needed to get out of the van for a bit, so that was nice.

Steve at the wheel looks like an image from THE AMAZING RACE. Beware of pigs on the highway near Grand Junction.
You guys look totally crazed by the long drive! So much for Mike helping with the driving... snoozing is more his speed.
Sounds like you had a blast on that first night... awesome!
